I had a truly memorable experience participating in the Pioneer Academics Research Program in Summer 2019. As an international student from Turkey, I was greatly appreciative of the full financial aid provided to me by the program, which demonstrated their dedication to removing financial obstacles for their scholars. During my time, I had the privilege of working on a research paper on immigration economics with the guidance of an incredibly supportive professor from Davidson College. This experience not only allowed me to enhance my technical abilities such as quantitative research and theoretical analysis, but also provided me with a sense of community through the interactions with fellow scholars from diverse backgrounds. I wholeheartedly recommend Pioneer Academics to any high-achieving student seeking a research-driven learning experience with access to top-notch faculty.

At Pioneer Academics, I was a Turkish scholar from Robert College during the Spring-Summer 2022 program and I truly enjoyed my research experience at Pioneer. During my senior year, while I was continously thinking about my future college life, Pioneer allowed me to truly understand the nature of a college course and college-level research. Besides, the class-size was very small and the program was specifically structured to also allow individual meeting time with my program professor. Consequently, my learning process extended beyond the virtual classroom environment, thanks to the personal interactions with Dr Aziz. Most importantly, despite the fact that Pioneer is the only credit-rewarding virtual research program for high-schoolers, it was the only option that offered me the full scholarship I needed in a need-blind manner, thanks to a partnership with my high school as well as many others around the world. None of the other research academy options both at home and abroad were as generous and welcoming as Pioneer for students requiring financial assistance like me. To clarify a past comment raising inaccurate questions about the financial aid process within Pioneer for cohorts from my country, I can, with full confidence, say that no one should hesitate to apply for Pioneer because they need financial assistance. The whole team is very committed to both making the program a unique experience for all scholars and also making sure that cohorts with a financial need receive the assistance they need fairly. In short, I can definitely describe Pioneer as a unique academic experience for all high schoolers from all socio-economic backgrounds.

Pioneer is way beyond a college-level online research program: it is also an experience, a learning opportunity, an insight, an inspiration, a community, a passion, and a personal growth. I am a 22 Spring-Summer Pioneer Scholar with a concentration on Economic Growth, Development, and Finance. Joining Pioneer is one of the most insightful and encouraging experience I have ever had along my learning path. There, I met amazing professors and peers who are doing amazing things passionately to make the world a better place through their own efforts in different disciplines.

I'm writing this review because I saw a comment earlier about the Turkish students admitted to Pioneer academics, and the misrepresentation honestly made me sad. I'm a scholar from Turkey, and I did my research on cell biology at Pioneer Academics with a full scholarship. Pioneer is need-blind, meaning the level of financial aid you require does not affect your chances of admission. The admissions team will be completely unaware of your scholarship status, as was the case with me. I was skeptical while applying because none of the people I knew had applied to Pioneer, and I didn't know if my financial situation would prove to be a hardship; that turned out to be an unnecessary fear. I can say with confidence that the staff at Pioneer wants nothing but the best for you, and their only concern is to help young scholars with talent further their careers (meaning the admission only looks at your accomplishments in the context of your environment as an individual, and not how much money you have) Hope this helps clear some confusion! I would strongly advise any high school student interested in research to apply to Pioneer. It is a rigorous and selective program, and my mentor was responsible and helpful. It was a very positive experience for me and inspired me to seek more research opportunities. In addition, various networking events allowed me to meet other students passionate about research, with whom I am still in contact.

I was a Pioneer Academics 2022 spring through summer scholar. The program was very interesting, and I learned so much from my professor about how to conduct authentic research and write a research paper. My professor was so supportive along the way! Don't get me wrong - this program is challenging for sure, but I received so much support and help from Pioneer Academics and from my professor that they made it possible! I will strongly recommend any high schooler who has a passion for research to apply for it and give it a chance!

I was a summer'22 scholar of Pioneer. If I didn't get a full scholarship, it would be impossible for me to get in. I got a full scholarship and got the most out of my experience. I think every high school student interested in research should try their chance at Pioneer. I still appreciate how valuable my experience there was.

I was admitted to this program with a full scholarship as a summer 2022 scholar from Galatasaray High School, Turkey.

In my opinion, it is the best program for high school research thanks to the small cohort sizes, caring professors, and exceptional support they gave you. They are also very selective and meritocratic in their admission process. As a low-income student from Turkey, I can easily say that if they did not offer me a full scholarship, it would be impossible for me to conduct the research of my dreams. My professor was genuinely caring and excited about my research and she very regularly provided feedback to make my research better. Applying to this program and being a part of it also helped me better understand and prepare for college applications, as they provide resources to help their students through the college application process.

I encourage every high school student to apply to this program, as it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. They are very generous with their scholarships and do their best to help you through that rigorous research process. Thanks to this program, I was able to come up with the first ideal hormonal treatment against breast cancer and osteoporosis in the scientific literature. I am very thankful to them as they remove financial barriers to help passionate students conduct the research of their dreams.
