The doctors are great but the administration is beyond horrible. Every point of contact has been a disaster and the apologies do little to repair the damage. I have never met purposeful incompetence before but they are experts in it. Deal with them at your peril.

i participated in clinical trial ran by Jefferson GI clinical research coordinator Cindi Miller and Dr. Dina Halegoua-Demarzio. This is absolutely worst experience i had with any medical professional in 4 decades. I was given informed consent to sign that advised me to ask as many questions as i wanted so i understand trial i was going to participate. I did just that but found myself being yelled by Ms. Miller for taking so much time with all my questions while Dr. Halegoua and another nurse just observed Ms. Miller abusing me. Number of important things about my trial was withheld from consent. When i asked for accommodations to keep my 24 week protocol visit i was promptly dismissed from trial. I asked for accomodations outlined in FDA document "how to conduct trials in covid". I complained just about everyone in leadership position at Jefferson and got nowhere. I was told this office knew about my complaint and did nothing for me. This shows how much Jefferson clinical research leadership cares about clinical trials participants.
