Purchased a sideboard for $2300 and 2 doors didn’t fit properly. Instead of shipping a new sideboard they asked that I speak with the seller to get a replacement door. It took 3.5 months for doors to arrive which put me past the return window. Now I have some flunky on the phone telling me it’s too late to return and I need to continue dealing with the seller. Houzz doesn’t stand behind what they sell. Never ever will buy from them again. Now I will have to go the route of disputing the charge on my credit card.

If I could rate them a zero I would. Unfortunately the rating starts at one. Ordered a glass table one month ago. Received two (!) glass tops, was told a third is on its way but never received the table’s base. Called their so called ā€œcustomer serviceā€ in the Philippine six time only to be told politely they cannot get a response from any one. Totally useless. Pls tell Alon David the CEO I am willing to consider buying his company. I can definitely improve it!!!

I have been with Houzz Pro a few years for marketing my design business. I have gotten 1 good lead. All other leads are spam solicitations. They also blocked my website saying I didn’t pay my account when I did. And the don’t even own my website domain. And it’s impossible to cancel your account. Do Not market your business with Houzz.

Be aware, Criminals

In August 2023 I had a few meetings with one of their sales reps. All the conversation was based on creating a paid account for the advertisement of the company for the services in remodeling. After the 3rd meeting I made the decision to do the Agreement with them, because she was showing examples and making trust to them. I sign the Agreement for the $480 per month to have advertise on one area, But during of the period of around 8 months, I have just 2 leads where I have an answer, but in final customer decide to not do nothing. During this period it was so hard to have a hold of the person that was in charge of the account with us and never had any leads, even when they said they did improve. Again all the leads with exception of 2 were false leads. After 8 months I was asked to stop the Agreement, because I can not cover the monthly cost if I do not have any lead that brings income. AfterĀ few months, in August I received a call from a person that said it is from a collection agency and is calling because of the outstanding balance for the Houzz. This is so inappropriate, to charge for a service that does not bring any income or use for the user. If the Houzz can not keep the promise to bring leads, in the same way we can not make the payment from the income that does notĀ exist.

So disappointed with Houzz. Apparently they do not vett the products they sell. Purchased a jetted tub through them for a homeowner remodel in advance. Once tub was installed it leaked from several locations and jet covers wouldn't stay on. Tub was unusable. Houzz was unwilling to help with the return or replacement. Was told to go directly to the seller. It took over a year to get this tub in working order for the homeowner. Very disappointed in your customer service. Will never purchase from you again or allow our homeowners to purchase items from you.

Fraudulent company, located in the Philippines with no direct access to Principle owners or managers. Our company credit cards have been hit by this bogus company twice. They will not allow me to speak to anyone in management, all I can get is some third world off shore answering service. Buyer beware !!!!

If you buy insurance through Houzz, don't even waste your money. Houzz offers product insurance through Mulberry, I
purchased the protection plan for 5 years and I submitted a claim almost two weeks ago. Mulberry requested to send a video, photos and a written statement of the issue. I provided them with the issue. I provided them with the information, it is supposed to take between 3 and 5 days to get a response. Already passed 2 weeks, Mulberry does not respond any of my attempts to speak with them or by email. Houzz keeps ignoring me also, after so many calls. I spoke with a Supervisor named Melissa, she is supposed to follow up the claim. It is not true. I have been trying to speak to a supervisor and Houzz representative keeps telling me that they are not available. One of the representative's from Houzz told me that my case has been assigned to a team, to make the story short...l have not been able to talk to nobody of that supposed team either. The insurance company Mulberry and Houzz refused to make things right. They are dishonest, why?Because they are denying to take responsibility. Hope this helps anyone who wants to buy something from them, be aware of the scam. They (Mulberry) will take your money without a doubt, but they will not grant to cover the product Houzz keeps selling their merchandise and collecting money from hardworking customers like me, who tries to provide and protect the family and the community. I ordered a beautiful vanity from Houzz. It came in damaged. I was unaware as I could not get it delivered due to some issues with the building of my new home. So, it didn’t get reported in the 5 day period that is required. Almost 3 months later, after sitting at the trucking warehouse and being moved to my property in a borrowed trailer, I see the damage. I did reach out to customer service and was told there could be no refund or replacement. Long story short, A portion of what I paid was debited back to my account. This will help me to repair the top….I am very appreciative and hopeful. Thanks HOUZZ!! Moving my rating up, customer service was awesome for me!
