We would definitely come back here, but with bikes. We stayed in the very first camper loop. There are so many sites!!! We drove everywhere, but there are miles of bike trails/boardwalks that take you all through the park and to the beach. There is also a lake right next to the first loop. We wanted to kayak but it was too windy the whole time we were there and dou le red flag at the beach so we could not swim. But I was still beautiful.

Cute little center with exhibits and lectures to get you familiarized with the local wildlife and their environment. There is also a bike rental facility in the building. The employees are friendly and very helpful with directions, guidance, and overview about the park and trails.

A lot of animals to see in about 30min to 1 hr time! Make sure to see the birds underneath the center proper. The staff was very welcoming and answered any questions about the animals to visitors! Many if not all of the animals are rescued from injuries or other natural perdicaments that would have otherwise left them in trouble!

This was an interesting thing to see while in Gulf Shores. It is small but there are exhibits of local wildlife. There are live owls and a hawk downstairs. There were a few hands-on things for children.

A fun and interactive space to learn about the local environment. I took my 4 year old and she enjoyed viewing many animals. We spent about 45 minutes here. It cost 4 or 5 dollars to enter the park. Good activity for a rainy day!

A great little nature center with snakes, turtles, raptors, and baby alligators! Some very cool skulls, antlers, and furs, too. We even saw a juvenile alligator in the pond near the center. We paid $2 park day pass and that’s it! We will be back!

This place was very neat, several animals to see. We even caught a show while there, "Radical Raptors." The outside amphitheater was really cool as well.
