My review would be a 5 if Dr. Winner & his assistant Misa weren’t on vacation right now…please keep that in mind.
I posted this on Facebook on 12/31/24…
Called my neurologist office LAST THURSDAY to get refills on my muscle relaxer because my last dose was going to be last night (12/30). My Dr’s assistant is out on vacation until 1/6….no problem, the lady on phone said she could do it for me. Fast forward to yesterday (12/30), a different Dr from the office called me (assuming my Dr is also on vacation), I called him back and left a message w/ the answering service. This morning I get I call back from that particular Dr’s assistant asking about the correct dosage (can’t they just look at my chart?). I call back and leave her a voicemail with the instructions on the now empty medicine bottle. She calls me back, I advise her that I took my last dose last night & to which she responds that the refill will be sent to the pharmacy today. I called the office less than 10min ago & they’re already closed for the New Year; I call the pharmacy & was told that my prescription was NEVER called in. Now I’m going to be 2 days WITHOUT SLEEP because I’ll be tossing & turning ALL night….and can’t call back until Thursday, at which point I’ll be back at work again. 😩🤬

Thought about my posting my experience here. Had a scheduled appt around 11AM with Dr Stone, did not get called in until nearly an hour and half later. I had checked in throughout the time to see what the long wait was and was told "soon". Right when I said I would rather just reschedule because at that point, it was already past noon and I had to go back to work. conveniently enough, I get called in 5 minutes later after saying that to front des. During the visit, DURING my time, Dr. Stone had to step out as I was explaining my condition and was gone for a good 7 seven minutes.

Disappointing patient care experience.

I just tried to get an appointment with Dr. Da Silva who is my doctor. His secretary was very rude. She says I cannot see him for another 3 weeks regardless of my condition. I have been going to this place many over 2 decades. He may be the best doctor but this is not how you treat patients

Like many other reviews state the receptionist is rude. She seemed annoyed I was trying to make an appointment for my grandmother. I am not sure why the primary recommend this place. The referral was sent over almost a week ago and we still do not have an appointment. At this point I wouldn't take my loved one here. They seem disorganized and there's plenty of other neurologists with better ratings.

When I first came to this office, I saw Dr. Stone. He was thorough enough to run additional tests and determined I might have MS. I was then sent to his associate Dr. Coppola since he specializes in MS. Dr. Coppola is a really awesome physician. He is also very thorough and encouraging. He has such a great personality and makes me feel like everything will be okay despite my diagnosis. He took time to explain MS to me and even drew a diagram of how it affects me and how the medication will help. I'm very grateful to have such a kind and caring doctor. His assistant Katherine is really great too and is always quick to return a call or help me with anything I need. Great staff and physicians.

Service and caring is horrible , I’m a patient at this place and haven’t being able to get help from a receptionist or manager in almost two weeks ! They pick up the phone and continuously send me to the machine after listening to my problems they so oh ok not our problem let me get you over to the other department that’s not going answer for you and give you a voicemail. I’m a hit and run victim suffering from multiple injuries all I want was to be treated fairly and with sympathize someone wanted to help me, but instead they laughed at my pain. Overall, my doctor was a great doctor unfortunately, I couldn’t get in contact with him to express my issue due to the fact that the rep receptionist…… they got the one star just for the good work of the doctor other than that it would be none

Da Silva could be the best doctor on the planet but I won’t go back due to the office staff. I’ve been trying to get tests scheduled that he ordered for three weeks now and JUST got directed to the right facility after a half dozen calls and voice messages about them.
Beyond that the staff has been rude and short with me. No thanks.

Edited to add: two weeks later I show up for the very important tests and Palm Beach Neurology still does not have the order correct and I am waiting for them to correct it, even though I called early last week to try and get it corrected. Beyond incompetent office staff.

Edited again to add: not only did they fraudulently bill me for a test I didn’t need for symptoms I didn’t have, now 6 weeks later, I still haven’t had all the MRI’s because they can’t get the paperwork correct for the preauthorization. Clinical notes are incomplete and locations are all mixed up. Total mess, waste of time and money

I recently had an appointment on 4/14/22 and must say this office has had a complete turnaround. The front office was very nice and very little wait time. I had one of the best exams I have ever experienced. Dr. Butera was absolutely wonderful!!!! He spent so much time with me and is extremely compassionate and caring. I would recommend him highly. Again the most comprehensive exams I have ever had! What a great doctor.

My experience was terrible. . I have had a referral since 4/1 and made an appointment that day with Dr. Louis Butera, Palm Beach Neurology for 11 am today, April 13, 2016. The appointment was reconfirmed yesterday. I arrived at 10:45 to complete all paperwork. I left at 12:10 without seeing the doctor. The last 30 minutes I was the only one in the waiting room. When I asked the receptionist how much longer, she told me very haughtily, it could be another hour. The doctor always takes a lot of time with patients. I then nicely responded, why then don't you space the appointments out if you know the doctor can't see the patients on a timely basis? Her response - "it's not my fault and there is nothing I can do about it. You are welcome to leave." During the entire hour, I only asked her twice about my wait time once at 11:30 "My appointment was at 11:00 do you know if it will be much longer?" r and again at 12:10. I was not abusive or disruptive but extremely patient and respectful.

It's intolerable that the doctor, not having a medical emergency (confirmed by the receptionist) would make a patient wait for over a hour. I planned my work schedule around this appointment. I gave up two important appointments to see this doctor. This was completely inconsiderate and uncalled for. There was no apology, the receptionist was rude, and the whole experience was frustrating and stressful.
