We started with Mariela and then were handed off to Dr. Michelle Perez because they did not believe our documentation and caused harm to us. We completed our application and interview for The McKinney–Vento, and were found eligible, after several meetings and tears. They are very incompetent and hostile. I also had to provide photos of domestic violence for them to read our emails. In addition the Princapal at Tennyson High- Veronica Estrada also has been very unresponsive to assisting with any of her credits reduction eligibility,, resources, counseling, and updated graduation requirement to her teachers- Ms. Huskins,. My Daughters classes have not been updated all year long due to discrimination and intimidation. I have been emailing Michelle Perez and Veronica Estrada since before June 2023 with very little or no response. Ms. Estrada becomes easily agitated or aggressive. Recently I contacted the District and was informed that Dr. Michelle Perez is no longer in the position. I emailed Ms. Estrada and she said “I know.
We decided the only choice we had was to file a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights, OCR’s of San Fransico which is still pending interview. Tremendously frustrated with the treatment of these people, and hope they can efficiently do their job they are paid to do with respect to the individual circumstances.
