Great community college with many different programs. The Aqua Terra Grill restaurant (culinary arts' restaurant) is a local favorite, attracting many lunchtime diners from the neighborhood, besides the students.
The photos are showing the 2024 Food and Wine Festival which is also very popular.

Thinking of a life changer well check out Contra Costa College and see what life here can offer you. Thanks for the consideration. P.S. they have there own security Police force, for the safety featured allotance of the mind just like the City, but let's face it this is where the City Security Force work to possibly get some action. Been going here since I was 18. Got a mechanics license, changed majors and became an EMT. Now in my mid 20s I'm going here for nursing.

Every single department I've been in I've been supported and educated by the best teachers I've ever had. All of them mentored me in the ways I needed to succeed in life. This college also offers resources like a food pantry, clipper cards, and therapy to the students that go here. Definitely the place to be to get an education and a career

Great place to start your higher education track. The teacher care for the most part. The art department is great place to come and explore your creative. The journalism program is one of the best in the country. And the have the awards to prove it. The campus is currently in a construction phase but it is a much need upgrade to the campus.

They just finished a lot of new construction on the campus and it is quite beautiful. I personally went there and there were many amazing professors that cared for their students and wanted them to succeed. A highly rated College in my opinion.

I had a very unprofessional young speech tutor named Hayley Callaway, and her male associate, who I assume was a professor, who laughed at me when I had a bad anxiety attack while trying to perform my speech after tweaking it to her specifications. It was due that day and I wanted to make sure it was perfect. Ironically she also specializes in working with the disabled/ those with disabilities, so thats another slap in the face. I took my speech to an older professor, who exclaimed "who edited this" as if to say they didn't do their job. When we tweaked it again, it was pretty much the same, when I first started on it. Go figure.

My only gripe is that some tutors are slightly pretentious, especially the younger ones. Also some bias towards older students or those who may or may not be at the same level of education. I would suggest screening beforehand. Most of them can be rude or they tend to goof off occasionally. Besides this, CCC is pretty great.

The campus is great, the facility members are great, the faculty is great and the location is convenient. Minus a star for unprofessionalism and nearly making me have to take the class again when I was so close to graduating.
Edit: I already graduated...
