This educational department has exceptional instructors and a well rounded program. You learn a vast array of topics such as plant science, propagation and much more! You also receive hands on training which can prepare you for a career in agriculture, nursery operations and other plant related fields of study. You can chose from two certificate programs, or receive an Associates degree in applied Science. I definitely recommend this program.

Located between the Cape Fear River and the Cape Fear Botanical Gardens, this location grants the FTCC Horticulture Technology Program excellent access to over 300 different species of plants. Combined with the knowledge of the instructors and students, this location ensures the success of any aspiring horticulturist or landscape professional. This building is also the location of the FTCC Horticulture Program plant sale.
