I'm a public school math teacher and when I observed a math classroom at this school I was blown away. Students must be recent immigrants to the US in order to be admitted here, so as many as 12 languages are spoken in a single classroom. As a result, the students are entrusted with an unusual amount of responsibility for one another's success, and it's fascinating and beautiful to behold. 9th and 10th grade classes are commingled to support the newest students in their transition to the school, and students really help one another out. Mr. Hsu's class is the bomb!
