I started acting late in life mid 30's and almost every Teacher I have worked with and workshop I have taken has incorporated the Alexander Technique into their curriculum but only as a brief warm up in class . I actually didn't realize this until I took the Alexander Technique in Acting class just after the first of this year. For me the class has been transformative, to Kristof and Jean-Louis Alexander is a way of life and a necessary practice for the art of acting, not just a warm up. I know I have only scratched the surface but I have seen and felt the results in my acting, breathing, the embodiment of my character and awareness of my surroundings. I'm looking forward to a time when we can do in person classes again but in the interim Jean-Louis and Kristof have made a smooth transition to the on line world with their curriculum. The morning Wake-Up sessions have been fantastic and helping me stay on track

I got more out of Alexander Tech-works than I thought I would. The instructors were quite knowledgeable and thoroughly enjoyed sharing their talents while answering questions. Even though I worked doing physical therapy for over 15 years, I still learned things about our bodies, and how better to keep it happy. Kristof and Jean-Louis work well together which helped classes flow smoothly. Fun was also there to be shared.

Two of the BEST teachers to study with in the business. Will for sure help you to take the next steps in your craft. Everything from breath, voice, movement, body, craft etc... their knowledge is almost unmatched. My first time taking class I knew that this was where I wanted to continue to study and to grow. I've taken 3 classes in the last 3/4 months with them back to back. and I ALWAYS learn something new. They truly care about each individual in the class, they take time with each individual, they listen, they see, they tend to each individuals need in regards to growth. I have learned soooo much from them and will continue to study with them. I highly highly recommend taking classes with them. I learned things that I will forever use in my craft from them..some things as simple as truly breathing...... I love these guys!

i have had the privilege of studying with my master teachers Jean Louis Rodrigue and Kristof Konrad for many years. because of my work with them my neck and shoulder pain have gotten so much better as i have become aware of working with them how much tension i carried in that area. my breath has definitely gotten easier and much deeper. its interesting that now because of covid I am working in their class twice a week through zoom and it has been truly a blessing. working twice a week and that is really five times a week as i can access it all week. a very interesting thing happened on the zoom learning. we were working on the ankle and feet last week. i have had this work before of course, but suddenly i realized that i am a heel walker. it suddenly clicked in through the repetition ....why is this important to me....because i have been suffering with planter fasciiatiis for a year exactly. i finally found a good podiatrist and got the injection under a sonogram, so it was correctly injected, but although it helped it was still painful, although not as much. the realization that i put a slightly more pressure on the heel was amazing. it has helped me each day. as i live in new york, walking is everything. so now that i have this aha moment i can really help my foot heal. thank you so much jean louis and kristof. i want to add that repetition in this work is very important. you may get a mental understanding quickly, but the body does not process it that way. it takes time to really click, like it did for me. the weekly class of mon and fri is something i look forward to every week. its a bargain at $10. a class thats $ 20 a week, but really a great bargain as you can do it five times a week. This work with Jean Louis and Kristof has been a life saver for me.
