We have been at Anthem Chapel since it started four years ago, and our family has loved this church. It truly feels like our family, and there are endless opportunities for us to be involved. We feel like we belong here, our kids are loved, and we are all pushed to live a bolder life for Jesus. The pastors Nate and Lars are so humble and welcoming, and always say hello to us by name. We look forward to coming to church every Sunday, and our kids LOVE it too!

Wonderful church. Nate and Lars are welcoming, warm, and down to earth. I spent a few years there and did a decent amount of volunteering. I grew up going to Calvary Chapel and Anthem has a strong foundation in scripture like Calvary. I bought a house out of town, so don't get there much now, but I miss this church and the leadership. I am a Manager in a highly stressful life changing specialty and I was so impressed by Nate and Lars approach to managing things. They are great leaders. Anthem has set a gold standard for me in what I look for in a church. They are KIND good people.

Love my church! Really welcoming and teaching following the Bible! Great and humble people, amazing leadership and kids ministry, Bible studies, men and women retreats and nights to get community. It’s also a church where you find kids, teenagers, young adults, older people and we all share together.
We love Anthem!

Sadly one of the most manipulative environments I've ever been a part of.
Got love bombed into staying here, got effectively ostracized when it was clear to Nate, Lars, and many of the elders that I didn't suit their image.
And unfortunately I'm not the only case. I'm now a few years removed from the church, and I've either heard congregants tell me they've grown weary of the worship leader turnover, or former team members tell me horror stories that sound all too familiar.

We really feel the Holy Spirit at Anthem. In a time where many churches are pressured to bow to culture, Anthem consistently preaches the word of God. There is a big family feel, our kids also absolutely love going to church - the kids program is amazing. So thankful to be part of this community. This church truly loves all people and serves Jesus. It is very evident. Maybe that is why so many people attend it. They also love and care about our community, as evidenced by the events they put on that all in the community are welcome to attend. They do preach from God’s Holy Scriptures and to some that doesn’t sit well. Darkness is uncomfortable with the Light and some do not love or want to know the real Truth, just their own tailored version of it. For those that are seeking and do value the truth, this church will help in your knowledge of God, who He is, what He has done for you, the love He has for you, and will help you draw closer to Him, so that someday because of Jesus you can spend forever with Him and not apart from Him. We love that the pastors of this church preach God’s biblical truth unapologetically. This church has helped us to grow in our knowledge of God and our relationship with God. This church encourages all to “live and love as Jesus did”.

I moved back to the Santa Barbara area for a short time and attended Anthem Chapel for a number of months. I found it to be a very warm and welcoming community of believers. It’s very apparent the Pastors Nate and Lars deeply love their congregation. Would highly recommend this church.
