Administation is poorly organized. Nearly impossible to get a response in a timely manner from Busar, or advisors. Repeated voice mail messages and emails go unanswered for days, sometimes weeks. My advisor has never answered her phone, directs you too email, then takes weeks to respond to an email. Navigator 360 app is a joke, and its the only way to make an appt, but will not give me an option to make an appt with my advisor or anyone in the advisory office. Calls to admissions for a recommendation to get ahold of someone in advisory office directs me to use email. If you are out of state like I am, please know that you will not have an advocate to reach out to for support, and that the college is not forthcoming in support of you as they claim to be. Success toward our degree is dependent on a timely response from our advisors, financial aid, and busar offices. Keep in mind that my classes are paid for 100% by my employer up front, and they still do not care. The instructors are five-stars with quick and easy contacts and fast replys with questions. Perhaps the instructors should have a class for the administrative offices so that they could be equally competent in their roles.

Poorly organized. Staff are barely present, there’s no in person activities, it feels like a ghost town in an empty building. The Applied Theatre department claims to be anti-oppressive, and then enforces a English perspective on bias, where I experienced serve antisemitism and ableism and the department, and Dean covered it up and neglected my pain. Not worth the tuition, as cuny is so bureaucratic that it doesn’t care about its students, and nearly any cuny degree doesn’t lead to a job, as their partners and network is poorly funded.

Classes are manageable due to their asynchronous options. The professors are very responsive and overall a good institution.

I needed to initiate a career pivot and returned to college to get my degree after a looong break. CUNY SPS helped me transition back to college, and I quickly felt at home. The flexibility of online classes suited my crazy working-single-mom schedule. I earned my degree and then went on to grad school! Thanks CUNY SPS!

Here you go for something quality, Something New York, very helpful very knowledgeable. It's just that the schools of CUNY vary so widely + it's a labyrinth structure but I saw it through and so did SPS ✍️

Most professors here are awful, I’m thankful to have a handful that were amazing/kind, terrible support system, nobody knows anything apparently, especially the financial aid office, I sent in medical documents in order to be withdrawn due to a health emergency and messaged the dean/offices multiple times- still WEEKS LATER never got a reply after they said they would respond within a week. Please choose a different CUNY school or if you need an online school google WGU or UMPI for starters/also loads of online programs at SUNY colleges! I regret ever going here

I don't even know why they bother having phone numbers because nobody ever answers the phone.
