This is a class act. The system works, and it works well. The receipt scan feature is critically important to stay on top of book keeping. When I buy something I scan the receipt immediately, and then dispose of it. The app opens fast, and I would say about 45 seconds to one minute, and Im done. I give my CPA access to the program, so tax time is very easy. Stessa Support Agent: Andrew is the best!!! He worked on a issue with me and got it fixed. Way to go Andrew!!! I am a Pro member.

Stessa is great when it's working and a huge headache when it doesn't. The first thing you should know is that customer support can only be reached through email. So if you have a high priority issue, the only thing you can do is email their support and get a response in a few business days. When you are dealing with time sensitive issues, that is unacceptable - especially when you pay them for the pro version. Their app is quite buggy at times. For instance, my tenant was unable to invite their co-tenants to complete a background check due to a software bug. It took Stessa several business days to fix the issue. I ended up having to process my new tenants through Zillow because I could not risk losing quality tenants over an application blunder. Payments can take quite a while to process with Stessa. I have the pro version and it can take over a week to get a rent payment to finish processing. I also had a situation where Stessa claimed the rent payment had failed after I had received and moved the money. Stessa then showed my account was negative.

Despite my frustrations, I must praise Stessa’s receipt scanning and tax reporting features. I am sometimes shocked how well the app is able to read and parse information from receipts. It has made taxes much easier to handle.

An amazingly well-designed, elegant, powerful piece of online software. I use it to manage three duplexes in North Carolina. Support is great. Shout out to Andrew! It's so strong in managing renter's payments and generating my tax package at year's end. Only thing missing is some sort of maintenance request functionality. But the software has continually improved since I started using it roughly two years ago. So maintenance support is probably on the drawing board.

I have been using Stessa for a little over a year now and have been really happy with the support. I am a pro member and anytime I ask a question to the chat feature I receive an answer in a very timely manner. Recently, I had been chatting about rent payments and Andrew took it upon himself to check back in with me and make sure my issues were resolved. Then he proceeded to provide me with additional help articles and information on other features of Stessa that I had not known existed. Thank you for exceptional service and going the extra mile to help me with my Real Estate journey! One thing I would like to see added to the program in the very near future is credit reporting for tenants making rental payments through the system. Thank you, Andrew, and Stessa for your support!

Andrew in Stessa Support was, well, so supportive and helpful! Five stars for him! I give the company less stars because everyone I know (with Stessa) has trouble signing up for rent management. That needs improvement.
EDIT: 1) I have to reset my password every new day I try to log in (thankfully I DO get the email now, thanks to Andrew!). 2) I paid rent days ago and it shows that on Stessa but is not even pending on my bank account (so I could accidentally spend it). 3) I can't log in without clicking on a link from my email. If I try to log in without it, Stessa wants me to add properties and doesn't recognize me as a tenant. This is actually been a very frustrating experience!
