This was my 1st travel assignment. They asked me what dates I needed off and they told me the dates were approved for me to be off. To later find out through the facility I worked at DIDN'T approve some of my dates I requested off. When it was time for me to extend my contract they wanted me to agree to dates I knew I wasn't going to be able to work because I had some doctors appointment and I was moving. They told me to agree to the contract and call out and say "I have a family emergency." I told them no because that makes me look bad. Not only that, the facility I worked at, if you called out on the weekend you were scheduled to work they would cancel your contract and some of the dates I requested off was for the weekend that I was scheduled to work. They also tried to end my contract and start my extension on the same day.
